A missile strike in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, attributed to Russia, resulted in injuries to five individuals and caused damage to an educational institution, as reported by local officials.
Serhiy Lysak, the regional governor, conveyed through a post on Telegram that, thankfully, no children were harmed during the attack as they had been evacuated to a shelter beforehand.
Lysak further noted in a subsequent update that, based on initial reports, five persons sustained injuries due to the assault.
Recent actions have seen Russia intensify its military operations against Ukraine, marked notably by a significant onslaught on the country’s grid infrastructure the previous week.
Moreover, there has been a notable increase in the deployment of ballistic missiles by Russia, which are more challenging to intercept.
